Sales Policy



The sales contract is between “The Fairy Sanctuary” and the “buyer”.


“The Fairy Sanctuary”  agree to abide by the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 http://www.legislation.gov.uk/uksi/2000/2334/contents/made. This law protects the consumer when buying over the internet or by mail order and applies to all member states of the EU.

“The Fairy Sanctuary” will post items purchased within three (3) working days of receiving paypal payment or cheques clearing at the bank unless otherwise clearly stated on the product description OR if the buyer’s identity and / or address cannot be authenticated.If the buyers identity and/or address cannot be authenticated a full refund will be given.

All items must be received by the buyer in under 30 days.


You must pay for items purchased by you via paypal or cheque. You and you alone are liable for paying “The Fairy Sanctuary” if you commit to buy an item.

Returns Policy

“The Fairy Sanctuary”  agree that the buyer has a right to terminate the contract and return the item even if the item is not faulty in any way (this is the consumer’s right in UK law). They have the right to do this up to seven days after receipt of the items and a refund must be made within thirty days. The buyer pays for the cost of return postage.

This does not apply to custom orders (personalised or bespoke products).

Return of faulty goods.

The consumer has a right to return faulty goods up to six months after receipt of the goods. A refund to include the cost of return postage must be offered within thirty days of the customer requesting a refund.

Lost items.

If the item is lost in transit then, unless proven otherwise, “The Fairy Sanctuary” should assume the contract is terminated and provide a refund or deliver the same item.

Cancellation Policy.

The buyer must inform “The Fairy Sanctuary” if they wish to cancel an order and they must do this in writing (email is sufficient). Upon cancellation of the order “The Fairy Sanctuary” must provide a full refund of the cost of the item and any postage costs within thirty days.


Payments for events are not refundable as we will have purchased materials and incurred costs associated with your booking. As places for these events are limited we may have turned away other people who will have enquired about the events.

Party Bookings

Private party bookings are non refundable. Bookings require a non refundable deposit to secure the date. The balance of the party is due 14 days before the party date. Failure to pay the balance 14 days before the party will result in immediate cancellation of the party & loss of deposit. Late payments cannot be accepted and any payment received after the 14 day cut off period will be returned. Party Bookings are non refundable as we will have purchased materials and incurred costs associated with your booking. However in exceptional circumstances we may agree to change the date for you.
